Pura Vida Travels - A Guide To Travel In Latin America

On my final day in Lima I took a walk to the beach to take some photos. The bridge in the photos has kind of an interesting story behind it. They had to put the covering on it because people kept jumping off of it. It's right next to the park with the kissing couples statue and it turned into a lovers leap. The park is a popular spot with local couples in love and many people come there to take their wedding photos.

After the park I wandered across the bridge and took some photos of the surfers. There were 100's of surfers out on this day and the surf looked pretty good. It was the first time I had actually seen big waves in Lima. After that it was one more shoe shine before I hit the road and it was time to head home. This guy did an amazing job on my shoes and it only cost $1.
