The flight back to Lima is short but I got some good pictures on the way.

I arrived at the airport and picked up my bags then fought my way through the gauntlet of taxi drivers to get to the reasonable ones. They have signs at the airport telling you to use the taxis at the stands for your “safety” but the real reason is so they can gouge you. The first guys wanted $28 or 84 Soles. I ended up grabbing a cab that was dropping someone off and he agreed to 25 Soles ($8). It’s perfectly safe to take any cab at the airport and here’s why, every cab that enters the airport has their “papers” checked when they enter. If they aren’t a legit cab they can’t even get inside the airport. So, ignore the ripoff guys and find a cab dropping someone off, you’ll save about $15 to $20 that way.

The driver took the beach road to get to Miraflores so I took a bunch of pictures along the way. Although Lima is right on the Pacific ocean the beach isn't anything to write home about. It's very rocky and you don't see many people on the beach in this area. From what I'm told there are very nice beaches only an hour away but there certainly aren't any near Miraflores.
